Getting Ready to Leave!!

Tomorrow is when I am leaving for Cambodia! My flight is at 10:40pm from Dallas, and I get into Los Angeles around 11:30pm. Then, I have a sweet hour and forty-five minutes to make it between two terminals and back through security and to my international flight area for my flight from LA to Taipei, Taiwan. LAX is crazy because if you have to go between terminals (which you pretty much always have to do), you also have to leave security and go back through it in the new terminal. Keep your fingers crossed that I will make it in time! My guess is the airport won't exactly be jam-packed around midnight. I just hope everything is still unlocked so I can make my 1:30am flight!! Then, I have a really really long flight to Taiwain and then onto Phnom Penh. I leave on the 30th and arrive on July 2nd. How weird is that to think about?

Good news: I finally got my e-visa to Cambodia in the mail. I filled out the info for it and paid for it on Friday, which was a little late, but I am really glad it came in. This way, I don't have to wait in line for one when I arrive. This is such a great service that the country of Cambodia has set up. You just pay $5 more dollars to do it online and ahead of time, for a total of $25. Here is the link: http://www.mfaic.gov.kh/e-visa/vindex.aspx - For some reason my computer has been having a hard time opening the site the last few days, but I worked on Friday.

I haven't actually packed yet, but I put all of my stuff aside. Here are a few pictures of all of the clothing I will be bringing with me.

Clothing packed:
7 shirts, 4 pairs capris, 1 pair long shorts (to the knee), 1 skirt (also to the knee), 2 bras, 2 weeks of underwear, 1 bathing suit (two piece but more coverage than most), about 4 pairs of socks, 2 pairs sandals, 1 pair running shoes, 1 set of clothes to run in if I feel so inspired, 1 set night clothes, a few wooden bracelts that I will leave there (I think), and 2 rings.

I think that is it! I probably will bring some kind of sweater or long-sleeved shirt for the plane, too, since I think 20 hrs flying might get a little chilly.

Okay, I will report back with more later!
